Curt officially joined Aviar Design in 2017 after 14 years of support, observing and assisting in the formation of Aviar Design helping it grow into the successful interior firm it is today.  Previously an Air Force officer for 20 years, followed by 16 years with Raytheon Missile Systems, Curt retired in late 2016.  Upon retirement Curt became eligible to take the helm for Aviar Design.

Curt manages the day to day business and finance responsibilities, and firm management based on his prior experience being the Branch Chief as direct manager for 20 staff, then Deputy Division Chief for the 200 employees of the AF Armament Research Laboratory, Eglin AFB, FL.  He also relies on his past experience at Raytheon Missile Systems where he, working as the team lead, performed project management on six (6) different programs of vital interest to the United States national defense,.  Curt was responsible for making sure his team accomplished tasks per the program schedule and within the program budget.

Curt is responsible for long range corporate planning and financials, preliminary project schedules and project tracking regarding submittal deadlines and FF&E funding requirements, in order to maintain Aviar Design’s commitment to completing design tasks on time and within the client’s budget.
