Kathryn's Story

Kathryn received her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Northern Arizona University’s CIDA accredited program in 2008. She began her career with the Facilities Department of a major defense contractor where she managed large scale moves within the company, did space planning, and perfected her CAD drafting skills. She then joined a local interior design firm where she focused on senior-living in which she was involved in every stage of the design process.

From these experiences Kathryn brings to Aviar Design a broad range of interior design skills and knowledge. Her extensive art background, specialties in interior finish selections, colorization, visualizations for clients, and over 15 years of multi-platform CAD drafting skills, all result in exceptional and creative design solutions. During her time with Aviar Design, she has worked on a broad range of projects including healthcare, government, higher education, multi-family living, senior-living, and custom art installations.

Kathryn joined the Aviar Design team in 2018 and upon Linda’s retirement in 2024, took on the role of CEO and Principal Designer. Her passions include reading, fitness, and traveling with her family.
