Michelle Wootten, IIDA, ASID, Senior Designer
Michelle is an award winning interior designer at Aviar Commercial Space Planning & Design. She graduated from The Art Center Design College in Tucson, Arizona where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with High Honors. The Art Center is a CIDA Accredited Institution.
Michelle is active in the local interior design community through International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and American Society of Designers (ASID). She was recently awarded several awards for commercial projects through the ASID Arizona South design excellence awards 2011. She has been an advocate for interior design in the Tucson and Southern Arizona region.
Michelle Wootten joined Aviar Design in 2007. She brings to Aviar a multitude of experience in project management, computer skills, as well as building and maintaining client relationships. Michelle consistently utilizes these abilities when designing and managing fast track projects. These skills allow her to form innovative and functional interior spaces. Michelle’s expertise is concentrated in the fields of higher education, healthcare, government, and commercial interiors.
As a project designer, Michelle understands the importance of applying high-quality design to achieve an environment that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. She focuses on incorporating the needs and work flow requirements to design a space that facilitates communication, collaboration and accommodates today’s multi-generational cultures. Through this experience Michelle has learned the magnitude of comprehensive design for all interior spaces.
